We were without heat this past cold winter and called for service.  Danny came out and saw the system and said it was condemned.  He and assistant went out side to supposedly clean 2-3 of my 18 burners.  Before he came out we inquired about a fee and before he left.  He wouldn't tell us anything while he was there.  He did not work on it because it was no use left in it.  He said he couldn't replace the boiler with a new one because he is not licensed.  A few weeks later we received a $90 bill.  I called him to see if he would cut the bill at least in half because I would happily pay him for his time.  He said if any thing comes off it would be very little, he'll see.  Well statements kept coming w/finance charges added and not lowered at all.  I feel if he was not licensed for boilers and he knows he fudged the 5 minutes outside cleaning 2 or 3 burners of a dead boiler, knowing he would never talk money to me prior about charges, that he had no justification in the rip-off.  And if he was honest and up front I would have paid him a token for his time at least half.   He performed no work and said he has no boiler license.  I can't see giving him my money for nothing and he wasn't honest upfront about fees.
