Our company formally requested the cancellation of service on Dec 18, 2012. Prodigy indicated that the contract called for automatic renewal (it renewed on Dec 25) and required a 30 day advance notice to cancel service.

Because we were no longer using the service, they offered to us to reduce fees to a minimum of $6.50 per month charge until end of contract. Agreement called for ONLY charge of $ 6.50 per month, no other charge would be made. We no longer use their services and already have signed up with another vendor.

Now Prodigy charges us annual maintenance fee of $ 95.00 despite agreement. When we call to complain they gave us the run around, nobody knows anything, they have no record of agreement, they did not receive request for cancellation, etc, etc.

As a business owner I made a mistake by using them as card processor, and definitely would NOT trust this company to handle my credit card sales and also strongly reccommend other companies to avoid them like the plague. A company that does not stand by its word is simply worthless.
