On or about april 2011 i contacted prodigy to close out this account, as i have changed processing companies.  i was informed of a fee to close out early.  thats when i found that my 2 year contract had mysteriously became a 3 year contract. i was informed of a $250.00 fee to close out the account.  

I am now paying more to prodigy than my new processor, and prodigy handles none of my card transactions.

I, at that time asked for it to be terminated.  one of my employees inavertantly ran a card though the terminal, which apparently reactivated the account, which i have been trying to close for the last 7 months.

i have thrown the terminal away so this will never happen again.

I have called repeatedly, been given about every excuse as to why the account cant be closed, i have even went as far as putting a block on my bank account to stop them from debiting it.  no problem.

 they just change the amount and run it though again.

This month they billed me an additional $121.00 fee for an account that i do not, and can not use.  last month i was told that this would be all taken care of, and would no longer be happening.  what the hell do i do to stop this without having to change banks?
