After four months of personal training sessions, Professional Fitness (Bordentown) failed to deliver on the goals it promised.  Although it acknowledged this failure and was unable to describe how additional sessions would make a difference, Professional Fitness insists that I pay for another eight months of training.  I now receive regular notices from National Fitness, a debt collection company, seeking payment for training that I did not receive.

During the first four months of training, I didn’t lose any weight; I wasn’t replacing body fat with muscle either.  In other words, I made no progress whatsoever.  This was true even though I received 90 minutes of professional training a week, went to the gym at least five days a week, and made dietary changes recommended by my Professional Fitness trainer.

After three months of training, I informed Aaron Silver, the Professional Fitness area supervisor, that I wasn’t losing weight or seeing a change in my body mass measurements.   I said I would give the program one more month, but if there wasn’t any improvement, then I was going to stop the training.  He expressed surprise that three months had passed with no improvement, but made no effort to be helpful. Another month passed with no change, so I stopped the training.  As far I as could tell, Professional Fitness only wanted my money; the fact that its program wasn't working didn't matter .

Professional Fitness will not own up to the reality of my situtation.   It was aware of my specific goals when I signed up, but doesn't care that its program wasn’t working.  Retro Fitness of Bordentown, the gym that has a business relationship with Professional Fitness, has washed its hands of the matter.

Professional Fitness takes no responsibility or pride in the service it provides.  Customer satisfaction is a goal that it doesn’t value.
