On 8/13/04 I talked with Professinal Flooring after visitng their web page. I was told the hardwood flooring I was interested in was in stock and should be able to ship to meet my time frame. I paid with debit card. $2200+.

On 8/17/04 My account was debited $2200+, On 8/18/04 they called to say the flooring was not in stock, could not ship to meet my time frame, but they had a similar flooring they could ship, BUT IT WAS MORE EXPENSIVE. I asked order be cancelled, credit my account and fax me the cancellation confirmation. Took 2 calls to get the fax.

On 8/23/04 I still had not received an account credit, I called them, they said it was credited on 8/20/04. On 8/26/04 still no credit, professional flooring gave a credit reference number. When we called our bank it was not a credit, but a debit for an additional $1200+. When our bank called professional flooring they admitted they knew it was a debit. Now I'm up to $3500. for a cancelled order.

On 8/30/04 still no credit and I called Professional Flooring and was told they had credited my account and "don't call me at work anymore."(Wrong thing to say to me). I had to cancell debit card, I've filed complaints with BBB, Internet Fraud Center, FTC, Georgia Consumer Affairs, and Tennessee Consumer Affairs (I live in TN).
