This company bought out a former company that supplies transportation and assistance to the Union Pacific railroad. Duties were to return railroad employees back to thier point of origin, also to assist railroad employees in the building and unbuilding of trains. All former employees were told thier wages would not be changed, and additional benefits would be available

Transition is tough but after four months(with an additional 3 months prior while negotiations were being made) with the new corporation in charge, the changes made were not for the benefit of the employee. While they did not change the hourly wage, noone was getting paid hourly, only mileage and wait time; which was being constantly changed, and "adjusted"

Neccesary vehicle inspections were no longer paid, (WHAT?) and time to get to a designated pick up point were not being compensated. Here in Wyoming, distances are far and two hours travel is a norm. Having to use a personal vehicle to travel the 15 miles to the vehicle yard more than twice a day resulting in  a 30 mile round trip each time for a run of only 30 miles makes no sense.  Being on call is not compensated, leaving employees waiting for hours to receive a run. If eight hours elapsed between runs a driver was considered rested and ready to take on another 15 hour shift (and you are not getting paid for 15 hours work, only mileage and adjusted wait time,no matter if you were asssiting a crew for that  15 hours.)

A phone is required, although phone charges in which the employee has to call Indiana and North Dakota for every run received, are not compensated.

Upon a hiring blitz, former employees were being passed over in favor of the lessor paid new employees. They are not following DOT logs due to the fact they are only using 9 passenger surburbans, and new employees are not being informed of transportation rules. It was do as you are told, and not until an accident occured(by an overtired driver) did they enforce hourly driving rules.

Payroll problems are ignored or lost, resulting in non-payment because the request was not submitted within the required time frame. Supplies are non exsistant and drivers were traveling without washer fluid or oil. So many loopholes exsist within this company there is nowhere to turn to solve these problems.  They lure you in and fail to make good. If you are bored and have money to burn then you can work here.
