The biggest lie told by this company: The right way is the safe way. Drivers inspect their vehicle every shift. I turned my inspection reports into the Branch Manager. The Manager suppose to read reports and if vehicle is unsafe to drive, manager suppose to replace vehicle with a safe one. I was forced to drive this van because manager ignored my reports.

I followed company policy and procedures, since the Manager refuse to do anything concerning this unsafe van, I went to the next step. If the supervisor fails to respond or is the source of the problem, contact the Director of Operations or Human Resource Director. This is what I did. Nothing came of it and I was forced to still drive that van.

This van stopped on me and the Manager had me fired. The manager did what is now becoming common place at PTI. He simply fired me a loyal employee who followed PTI policies and say now the problem is fixed. This is wrongful Termination and I am reaching out to anyone and everyone for help.

I was so happy when the union came, being this is an at will state we needed a voice and the union was it. The only thing PTI violates its own policy an procedures and  they also ignored the Collective Bargaining Agreement they made with the union. I been off the job since May and I want justice. The Manager and his assistances still have their jobs and if they had done their jobs I would still have mines.

The Manager or his Assistances don't make sure the vans are safe, they don't inspects the vans and drivers are driving around in unsafe vehicles, seats that won't adjust, crack wind shields, radio unmounted, luggage nets not secured engine lights on. air and heat that half work etc. The Crews and Drivers have a right to be concerned. What can be done to make these shuttle vans safe not only for railroad crews and drivers, but, the Public also. I should be re instated and paid all my back pay and continue to speak out about safety issues!!!
