I have Progressive insurance for my two vehicles under Full Coverage (one a Mercedes Benz and the other a Jeep Wrangler). Yesterday while driving the Jeep I noticed a small crack coming down my right upper corner of the windshield.  Today, the crack is reaching the 4 inches which means the glass needs to be replaced. I contacted the customer service phone number and after a couple of minutes I was able to speak with one of their unrepresentatives whom after inquired about my possibilities, she stated the following: You have to pay the $500 deductible first to get your glass replaced. I told her that I have been paying full coverage during all these years specifically to cover a situation like this and she stupidly said to me that full coverage is not what people thiks it is.... really? She said that ishould have choosen a glass coverage policy as well to get this cover..... really? I called the town car repair shop and after a three minutes wait, they told me that my glass can be replaced for only $230. I felt like a donkey in front of a computer, like an idiot for hiring that Ripoff insurance who stated rules totally different at the time of purchasing their product. I searched the web for forums and now I know who I'm dealing with, a Ripoff company. I hope my bad experience light the way, specially for young adults, regarding of the hazards of commercial advertisment brainwashing. Miranda
