I contacted USAA motorcycle insurance agency to obtain insurance through them because I'a a veteran and was looking to switch from Geico motorcycle insurance to obtain a lower rate because of my veterans status. The same day on March 5, 2016 I was at the Department of motor vehicles obtaining my motorcycle endorcement. We spoke for a while before i was called to take the test of the motorcycle endorcement but before the conversation was over the business transaction was completed. The representive informed me that the automatic draft was completed and my motorcycle insurance was effective the same day which was Friday March 5, 2016. the representative told me to just give them a call when my endorsement was finalized because my rate would be lower. I agreed because I have obtained anew insurrance policy with a lower rate.I entered the DMV to take and pass the written portion of the test the same day. I was scheduled for the driving portion of the test on March 24, 2016; I called to inform the representative that the test was completed that day. As a result the discount was a minimal amount somewhere between $5.00 and $7.00 per month.

Six months later, I received a notification from the Louisiana department of Motorvehicles indication that one of my insurance policies on a vehicle was cancelled. i checked the VIN and it was referencing my motorcycle. I imediately contacted the Progressive motorcycle insurance company and was informed that my motorcycle insurance is showing a difference in the date of insurance.I stated that he only day that I was available to speak with the Progressive Insurance Agent was on Friday March 5, 2016 which was the same day I took the endorsement test and spoke with the Progressive representive to obtain the new insurance. The representive stated that she understood what happened and she went on to say that she is contacting the Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles to correct the problem. The representive's actions implied to me that the problem was rectified and I would have no current or future problems related to this particular incident.

I went on a riding trip on Saturday April 8, 2017. My registrationn flew out of the inside of my jacket pocket on the highway. I was on the Interstate Highwas so I could not turn around to retrieve it. Today, Friday April 14, 2017, I walked into an agency that has the capicity to reissue a copy of my motorcycle registration. The young lady punched in my license number to inform me that my license was flagged for no insurance. I stated that that is impossible because I have several vehicles in my name and my insurance is up to date on everything. the young lady stated that my motorcyche was not insured for two day; March 5th 2016 and March 7 2016. I informed her that that issue was corrected by Progressive Motorcycle Insurance Company 6 months ago. I told the young lady give me a minute while I verify the information with Progressive. This time in speaking with the USAA Progressive Agent she stated that I did not have insuranse prior to March 7, 2016 even with the knowledge they took over the the motorcycle account form the previous Progressive Motorcycle insurance I had with Geico Progressive Agency. The USAA Progressive Agent nor her supervisor were helpful or polite. I feel that Progressive Agents were Neglent in mis representing their product, fraudulent in presenting something that they could not provide coersive by inducing a client to purchase a product inwhick they could nor give an efective date of insurance based on the day the policy was issued at time of payment.

I demand that my case is idemified by the USAA Progressive Corporation.

Resrectfully,

Reginald Jackson, Ph.D.
