Progressive Office Products Ripoff, Toner Scam, Scammers, Unethical Businesses Practices Covina California
They did the same thing as other reports here. They called claiming to be our copy company (we have a maintenance agreement and lease our equipment) offering a cheaper toner cartridge, just one last time before the prices went up. She knew my name (unbeknownst to me, our recptionist had given it to her), so it seemed legit. It wasn't! When I faxed a message to their fax number, there was a recording asking me to dial an international code, and then the fax number - Yeah, right! Anyway, when they finally called back, I told them we had a maintenance agreement, and the lady hung up on me. Total scammers! Beware!

I went online and reported these ripoff artists at ftc.gov. I received an email today that said they had recorded the company information, and will be looking further into this scam. If you were a victim, report them! We may get them shut down.
