Complaint Review: progressive readers organization inc.

Last April, 2 young men came to the door selling magazines from the neighborhood so they could go to college abroad for a year.  They said they were students attending shippensburg college.  I bought a magazine for the grandkids. 

Kept asking my daughter if they received anything, she said no.  As life goes on, you forget.  I just found the paperwork and asked again, still no magazine.

So I tried to call the company, number does not exist. Called directory assistance, nothing.  Went on line and BINGO!!!  there is was, saying it was a rip off.

Makes me think now then when our shop got robbed last year,  if these young kids were the ones. I may call the local news station about this now.

It is a shame people do this.  Makes it bad for the kids who are really selling items for their school.  I have bought magazines from kids who came door to door selling before, and I always received the item. 

Will I ever by again, NO!  unless I know the family personally, I will not!
