Progressive does not cover military personnel while they are deployed. While on deployment a military personnel car was damaged, as the service member returned home neighbors explained what happened, after getting the info the service member filed a claim with Progressive, thinking they would act promptly on the matter, the service member was set at ease, Just so you know the service member had just returned from Iraq so he only knew what info the neighbors gave to them.

So the service member called Progressive to see if they could get a rental until all of the legal stuff had been taken care of. Progressive denied the military personnel a rental car. So the military personnel rented to travel to and from work. After six months of being given the run around from Progressive, the military personnel found out that their claim would be denied, (the service member also provided the ins company with pictures the neighbors had taken, what did Progressive do, they ignored the pitures)

The reason or denial is that "they could not afford to pay for the vehicle and since this was a new policy they believe that the loss occurred the day prior to the purchase of the new policy." CAN WE SAY SCAM. They would not reimburse the $700 for the rental car; the military personnel had to purchase another car. They had to take all of their savings and whatever money they earned while being deployed to a combat zone and get a car.

After denying the claim Progressive contacted the financial institute that financed the car, after contacting the financial int, they contacted me and "stated that I have to maintain INS on the vehicle to protect their investment." Now does this sound like a scam or what, we deny your claim and contact the financial inst that financed your vehicle, they force you to keep your policy and if you drop your policy with Progressive they will issue/purchase a policy for the vehicle and you will be forced to pay over $4500 a year for ins, basically your car payments would be raised approximately $375 more dollars a month on top of your current payment. Now the service member is stuck paying for a car thats inoperable and guess what he's orced to keep a policy with Progressive. And the winner is as of right now is "Progressive", but the fight has just begun.

Progressive is quick to establish a policy and get your money, but they have no intention on actually honoring the policy.

And to Progressive contact at your leisure, just don't wait another six months.

"Faithfully fighting and defending your right to Ripp Off Service members"

Sincerely
8 yrs of dedicated service
