I was to be moved and packed from Fla to Ohio and packing was to be $500 when 2 men arrived without any supplies to wrap my items they took my clothes and wrapped items in them, they covered my furniture with old dirty blankets, they did not call me to tell me the weight but were very specific about me having cash or postal money order for them upon arrival,

It took 3 days for the things to arrive about 7pm in the evenin g by 2 men with a rental truck who demanded there money up front. The men were rude came in and dropped items and went out to get more they demanded people helping me stop smoking in my home or they would not bring any more items in. They did not place items in proper rooms nor put together items that were taken apart in Florida. I did not recieve a vacumn cleaner and the other vac is broken. I have called the company twice and tried to lodge a compaint and was told to write a letter and I still have not recieved a claim form nor can I find on the internet a claim form. I just want them held responsible for broken and missing items. The service was terrible and unfortunately I feel really duped and it was a hard lesson to learn.

DOT complaint site for Progressive

#2Consumer Suggestion

Wed, April 20, 2005

The FBI, DOT, IRS,and US Treasury last week raided the San Jose offices of AY Transport/Progressive Van Lines/Midwest Relocation/Premier Moving. They have set up a website for all victims of these companies (in actuality run by the same people, despite separate corporations and license numbers). This website is run by the Department of Transportation's Office of the Inspector General. This is a serious investigation, and they need all comments from victims.

Have your paperwork and driver's license ready and go to:
