ProMax Commerce Deceptive Advertising online, Internet
ProMax Commerce as a third party fulfillment through Amazon advertised Wet Ones. The product description said "40 wipes per dispenser, 12/case" so when you ordered, you thought you ordered a case for the price shown.
NOPE! They send you one dispenser. Add insult to injury, they tack on excessive s/h charges too. This same deceptive language was on the emailed order confirmation and the invoice included in the shipment. When I confronted ProMax on where were the other 11 dispensers, they said the 12/carton was "internal info meant to help them in their fulfillment". What total crap!
When I complained to Amazon, Amazon opened a claim. But ProMax violated Amazon rules and called me on the phone. They asked what I wanted and I said the other 11 dispensers. They claimed they could not send them unless I closed the claim. So I did.
GUESS WHAT? It is now back with Amazon reopening the claim.
I advised Amazon these guys are con artists from the get-go and Amazon would be wise to part company.
Never buy from ProMax Commerce either direct or as a third party on Amazon unless you are up for a big ripoff.
