So, I move into these apartments in the summer of 2009, looking to get my first place by myself.  I liked them because they were close to work, and cheap, about $525/month for a 1 bedroom.  I thought, hey, these will be great. I can walk to work and save some money so I can get into a nicer place in a year or two.  Well, all was fine until they switched to this newest management.

They left me alone before, I was allowed to basically do my own thing, provided I pay my rent on time.  Now though, they are always disturbing me.  I work nights and have informed them of this on many occasions.  I had a deal with the old management that they could leave anything they needed to on my door and I would address it in the morning when I got off work.  Now, they wake me up in the middle of my sleep schedule, enter my apartment without notification, have on 2 occasions broken the deadbolt to enter the apartment when I was sleeping, only to want me to fix it.

This place used to be a good place to live, if you just wanted some place to put your things and sleep.  Now, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.  The neighbors are noisy and the management doesn't take action.  The cops are always here.  The water works intermittently.  My dishwasher hasn't worked since I moved in, despite numerous requests for a fix.  I don't even have a garbage disposal anymore.  They took it to fix it and its never come back.

Do not live here.  It may be cheap, but it just simply isn't worth the hassle.

I had a deal with the old management that they could leave anything they needed to on my door and I would address it in the morning when I got off work.
- What exactly did the old management have to leave on your door to "address"?

Now, they wake me up in the middle of my sleep schedule, enter my apartment without notification, have on 2 occasions broken the deadbolt to enter the apartment when I was sleeping, only to want me to fix it.

Why are they entering your apartment?

Well, all was fine until they switched to this newest management

Your Dishwasher didn't work since you moved in.  So in your mind that qualifies the old management as "fine", but the new management as not fine because they haven't fixed it?

They took it to fix it and its never come back. Do not live here.  It may be cheap, but it just simply isn't worth the hassle.
- You are paying $525 for a 1 Bedroom, exactly what did you expect?  Besides you did this in the summer of 2009 and said in a year or two you were moving out anyways.  So just move out.
