Seconding the first report!  Very accurate report (and entertaining) and I can only add that they are becoming adept at using social media to expand their business.

They do have a primary contact in the Louisiana TB racing industry who funnels racehorses to them that they get for free or at a pittance and then resell to people they have carefully cultivated and conned (stroked outrageously).

It wouldn't be so bad if you were aware from the start that you were dealing with "quacky old horse traders" but it's easy to be bamboozled by these folks.   If you do for some reason find yourself sucked into working with them for any reason, remember this adage, "Pretty is as Pretty does" when shown pictures of gorgeous TB they have "sold" and this one too:  "You pays your money, You takes your chances".

If you have a yearning to get an inexpensive Thoroughbred off the track, you are better off working with a reputable 501(c)3 rescue.    If you really want one from Louisiana, then there are several reputable rescues in that area, just Google them and go from there.   It was certainly a "teachable moment" to get involved with ProPartners!  Save yourself the heartache and bother, go elsewhere.
