On February 1st I received an email from ari lowenstein of 312 properties, letting me know that I'd been approved to rent a unit and would need to pay a move-in fee of 500 in order to have my paperwork submitted. I paid the fee on February 2nd thinking that my paperwork would be submitted as stated in the email. on Monday, February 6th I was told through text from the agent who showed me the apartment that I was to move into that my application would be submitted by the 9th or 10th of February. From the date listed, I have been contacting ari through the email used to contact me asking for a refund because my application was not processed upon receipt of the move-in fee as stated in the email. I was contacted on 2/23/2023 by the same agent with a screenshot of a company email between them saying that they could let people know that they would be submitting cha applications finally. I called the leasing office to confirm this and I was told that this was not true now the units wouldn't be ready to move in until April 2023 and my paperwork still hadn't been processed. i checked the website I initially used to apply and was shocked to see that on 3/1/2023 I  was now rejected  As of today 3/6/2023 my paperwork has not been submitted and I've tried unsuccessfully to retrieve my fee which is being withheld for no reason at all considering my paperwork was never processed in order to receive an inspection. I'm a housing voucher holder and my voucher has an expiration date it seems that the company is holding my application up and trying to keep my money
