This company's landing page offers reports on the status of specific real estate and displays 'sample reports' that appear to have great detail. When you enter the address on which you seek info, you're taken to another page which offers an 'explanation of why they charge $1 for the report, cost of maintaining the database, etc., and there appears a tiered offering of service, from the $1 to med- and then premium services for $$$. I selected the $1, annoyed that they don't tell you on the landing page that there will be a charge, but hey for $1 I'll do it. So once they get your card info, you immediately get an email saying:  " If you don't receive your report or if you're missing any info you require, please contact me immediately."   Well guess what. You must enter a password to get your report. NO page ever came up that had a password-generating field in it. So you're now hooked. You have to recontact them, then you get an email saying sorry, we sent you the wrong message, (it was one that said they'd refunded my $$$ they charged on the card, etc.)  It gets worse from there, and using LiveChat was the place I went when the first email arrived. LiveChat also is a blind loop and you're sent to another site...got the idea?  Mon morning I'm taking all the documentation to my financial institution. (yeah, do select the option to have a copy of the LiveChat sent to you!! You'll need it.) Next stop: State Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division. I've worked with databases, computerized accounting, medicolegal systems, etc., for decades. This is, in my opinion, a very intentionally deceptive internet marketing scam.
