Complaint Review: Proplants

Proplants Rosie in Credit/Support Department For some reason Proplants and in particular Rosie in the credit card Support department. Card server on Proplants side was not sending my credit card charge information to Bank, Spent 2 hours trying to get it paid for. Rosie after not being able to help said I should use a different flower company and hung up. Very bad employee for customer relations. Phone representative are usually very nice and helpful--they are not the problem. the fact this woman couldn't and wouldn't figure out what the problem was is just lazy and then to suggest another company is just very bad business. San Diego California

I received an email from Proplants offering a 20% discount this weekend only.

 

I purchased two plants sending both to different addresses.  Went to pay with my Nordstrom Visa card.  after 3 attemps card wouldn't go through so I call Nordstrom Visa who told me they show no attemps to charge anything from Proplants.

 

I then called Proplants--spoke with Marc who told me the only thing to do is to place the order with him, which I did ---now making it the third time I filled out all information, cards, addresses, billing addresses and credit card information.

 

The Visa still wouldn't go through--call Nordstrom visa again while Marc is still on the line--Marc then refers me to some woman named Rosie in the credit card support area  who finally comes on the line (I'm now 1 hour into this simple process of ordering some flowers) who tells me they process millions of dollars and she has never seen this problem before, I explained that Nordstrom visa was on the other line and placed both calls on Speaker.

 

After doing several rounds with Rosie as to why the problem was on Proplants end and not the Visa end she said she would place the order on another card---I start to give her my American Express and she says that she doesn't have the order-----places me on hold for another 10 minutes and comes back and says that Marc didn't transfer it dispite the fact he said he did and that he's gone home for the day.  With that I said to just forget it and she said i should use a different flower company-----that they are not the company for me and hung up.

 

What a stupid thing to say to a good customer!  Instead of finding out what the problem is she clearly is a lazy employee that doesn't care if ProPlants keeps or loses a customer.   Very bad Customer Service.

 

I phoned back got a nice woman named Karen who processed my order (this was not my 4th time doing it) she was very sweet and helpful.It's a shame that personnel like Rosie who are not on the front lines speaking with customers have to ruin it for everyone else that is working there.

 

Why is she in her position if she can't and won't figure out what the problem is or offer up some suitable suggestions. "like we'll call you back on Monday but honor this price" ANYTHING! but instead she evidently doesn't care.Proplants deserves better as do I.
