Proseal, Procaulking infomercial scam and unauthorized removal of money from debit card Wallingford Connecticut
Oct. 20th, received 4 boxes in the mail from the proseal company and in each big box there were air bags with 1 bottle of grout cleaner which I never ordered. Went online to find a number to clear up the mistake and get a refund when I saw numerous reports of Proseal being a scam and many people had hundreds of money taken out of their account.
Immediately called my bank and found out they took $105.40 out of my debit account. Panicked and ask the bank if they could help me. Bank rep said there was an 800 number to call so I did. His name was Melvo and he refused to credit my account until I returned the bottles. I told him I did not want the caulking kit but he stated it was to late and that it was on its way. He repetitively refused to listen to me and then I knew he had ordered another kit without my permission.
I called the bank back and had my debt card killed because other people had complained the company kept going into their banking account and taking more money. My bank claims it will do everything in their power to get my money back, so I am going to wait. Oct. 23 another box arrived and I mailed the box back unopened to the same company.
