Protech Express Towing This company ripped me off. Denied me my personal property, then sold it out from under me. Riverside,Ca California
This company is a joke. The lady who claims to be the owner is a thief. Due to a issue beyond my control, I found my self homeless. Liveing in a travel trailer and a suburban with my girlfriend and two sons. Thanks to the help of the riverside county sheriff's office my home was impounded.
I make a liveing with my hands, iam a mechanic. In the suburban was three large tool box's fool of tools that i need to make a liveing. The company that towed my suburban held my personal property, wich is a vechical code violation.
The owner said she would not give me my property because she didnt like my attitude. I asked agin if please can i at least get my sons baby pictures out of the truck and she denied my access to my things for the second time. When i called the sherriff's office i was told to sue them and the dispatch said they would not send an officer out and would not make a report.
So now iam stuck with no home for my family, no vehicle, and no means to make a liveing. Patty, the lady who claims to be the owner, said she did not violate any codes because she sold the truck and all my posetions to the junck yard.
This cant be aloud to go on. She is makeing money off of the tax payers,and takeing advantage of her position.

22851b Vehicle Code
Personal Property
No lien shall attach to any personal property in the vehicle.The personal property
in or on the vehicle. Shall be give to the current registered owner upon demand.
That's straight from the code book !!! You should take them to small claims court. It's free just file a fee waiver and it easy to fill out. If your car was picked up by CHP,RPD or RSO their should be a 180 (a filed report) in the remarks it should have all your personal list make sure to get a copy to take to court. FILE A COMPLAINT with the police and city they hire them. It's free make sure you do this that why they get away with so much.GOOD LUCK

it was not a matter of weather i was doing something illegal or not the truck was unregistered is why it got towed my wife's ex boyfriend was being a real pain in the but and decided that the best way to get her to leave me was to call the cops and say the truck was an abandoned vehicle that's beside the point the problem was with the tow company not wanting to give me back my things so please before you leave some remark thinking i must just be some piece of crap or something at least make your criticism about what the report is about not the character of the person it happen to.

You fail to mention why you were towed in the first place? Is it because you were in the wrong in the first place and don't want to admit it?
