Sales people lie to you to sign a 3year contract and then tell you they will change it if you do not cancel but never do and then if you cancel they bill you for 3 years of home security totalling almost $1000.00. Or the balance of your time.  This company was initially BellSouth and changed to Protection One with no notice. I am so upset because I moved (going thru a divorce) and told them where I was moving and to just transfer my service but they set another crooked salesman over to trick me into signing another contract that he promised would just be an updated address not a new contract because I told him if not I would cancel my initial contract completely.  Long and the short of this company is they are knowledgeable about how to con honest people and I cannot afford to trust them ever again even if I have to go to court and sue I will.  Right is right and right don't wrong nobody......
