Protel consumer Finance ripoff Clearwater Florida
Encore called me with a credit card offer. I was guaranteed a credit card with 5,000 limit. What they did not tell me, was I had to go online to apply for a card. But when I called about the money taken out of acct, they gave me the webiste www.efr4u.com.
I could not get onto website. It stated my phone number was not valid. Not only did they rip me off, but protel did as well. When encore plays their recording, they do not play the recordin in its entirety. They neglect to tell you that you will also be charged 60.00 for long distance fee. But when I called protel, they told me the long distance was not for my phone, but a priviledge to use their services to make long distance calls, and that I could not get refund even though I had no clue I had protel.
Both companies are a ripoff, and recommend anyone speaking to them, to tell them no. No matter what they ask, they could record you saying yes to things that you did not say yes to
