Complaint Review: Protel - Ultimate Funding

The compay Protel is a 3rd party collection agency. They reported to me that Ultimate Funding had been charging me $40 a month for the past 3 months for services I did not ask for or require. Protel gave the the number for Ultimate Funding and it is a disconnected number the number 1-800-551-7099. Protel said that this was a "promotional offer" which i did not cancel after 14 days. I did not sign or verbally give concent for any promotion to the company Protel or Ultimate Funding. I beleive that Ultimate Funding is located in Saint Petersburg, Flordia and Protel's phone number is 1-800-634-2979. I am currently investigating to try and recover all, if any, of the money that was taken from me.
