Proton - spectronix frustrating and not worth buying Ontario California
I purchased a 32in lcd flat screen in march 2007.It lasted exactly til august 2007.I called the company above,they took me through several frustrating steps on diagnosis.At that time it was determined that TV,needed to be shipped back,but they would not give me a return auth number over the phone until I gave them a reciept number,time and date.They would not hold while I get the reciept,so I had to go call back.Upon calling them back,they took me through the entire procedure again,diag check and then to tel me again the tv must be eexchanged again.(keep in mind this procedure took about an hour each call).After that I was given a claim#.Was told I had to ship back to them,at my expense,and they would send me an exchange tv,within two weeks.Well that did not happen,after several frustrating phone calls and months later,I was finally sent a exchange unit.I finally got this unit in November 2007.I was given every excuse in the book,back order,no supervisor to talk to,no corporate office to get a hold of.The PLTV-3250,is not a good buy,no one can repair,I am just stuck now with a TV that can not be repaired in the PA are.now it is December 2008,and the tv has done the same thing all over again on this unit.I was told company does not do repairs,only warranty exchanges.I work in the auto industry,if I was to handle business this way I would own a lot of lemon law vehicles.I am at wits end with this company,no one to turn to for help,and two tvs later,and not a years service from either unit.I would sure appreciate any help in this matter that you could do for me.any information.corporate,ceo,anyone who could help,and addition to warn the public,this company has poor human relation's,not courteous,abd barely speak and english,hard to understand anyone on the other end of the phone.I have had the tv inspected by a professional,his report is that tv needs a power module,that no one can find.I have never experienced anything like this in my life.To purchase a tv in the states and the warranty on it is useless.Two tvs in tow years,same problem with both tv's.Whats the odds?
