We purchased a 32in TV from Sears that was a Protron LCD and it stopped working 8 months after we purchaed it. The color went bad and everything was red and you could not adjust it. We had to mail it back to the company at our expense 65.00 and they were suppose to repair or replace within 2-3 weeks. They received it as of October 29th 2007 and it is now February 2008 and we still dont have our TV.

They said it is against policy to give us our money back and every time we call weekly it is always 10-12 days, or 2-3 weeks. Call back and check the status then. They are out of the porduct and expect them in anytime. Anytime doesn't come and they think its ok to steal from the consumers. I would not recommend purchasing any of their products and I would say the same about Sears unfortunately at this point. They aren't going to do anything unless we purchased the extended warranty agreement from them. Of course Sears discontinued that same product shortly after we bought our TV.

We have no recourse from Sears or Protron Digital Corp. We saw the same exact type of compalint from Sue in NV about this company and it sounded as if it were the same scenario. I would like to knwo if she ever recieved her TV or her money back.
