*Consumer Comment: Same thing happened to me once WaMu took over Providian.

After making a full payment to Providian - WaMutual Visa card; my limit was lowered to 250.00 from 3,000.00.

I had made a payment of 2000.00 to clear my balance, then they dropped my credit limit to 250.00. Terrible business, I'm going to close my credit card and my bank account with them.
