Complaint Review: Prudential California Realty-Mulhearn

They said they would do a loan for me that would bring my home current so they could sell it. They wrote me a letter stating the loan terms. I signed loan papers and sent them via Federal Express.

They decided they would not fund the loan and informed me one week before the foreclosure sale that they did not want to help me. They said they were losing too much money helping people.

They never held an open house in the three-month process. They brought two potential buyers during that time who never made an offer. They did not do marketing, or return calls.

I lost my home because they waited until it was too late for me to explore alternatives. I had no money and could not even file bankruptcy to delay the process.
