This company charged me $2500.00 to finish the rebuild on my Ford Mustang GT and have the vehicle professionally tuned.  At first i thought these guys were a good shop due to their reviews and from what a close friend told me.  However this was not the case, this shop is absolutely horrible with communication.  After weeks of calling them and leaving voicemails to get an update on my cars status, my calls and voicemails were ignored and unreturned for multiple weeks.  When i finally recieved my vehicle back after months of it being there, the vehilce did not run properly.  I returned the vehicle back to them so that the issue could be corrected.  Instead of fixing the real problem, this shop charged me $200.00 for an unrelated part.  After the part that they claimed to have been bad was replaced the car ran the exact same way as it did prior to this part being replaced.  After doing some additional research on my car, it was found that the ECU (Computer) in my car did not include a chip and that i had discovered that PSI charged me for an item that was not installed.  The owner insists that he told me that he would install the chip and tune the vehicle after i repaired some of the issues on my vehicle and returned it to him, however this is a lie.  PSI Motorsports never informed me that there was no chip installed, and if this were to be true i would have never paid for something that i didnt recieve.

Mis-understanging on part of customer

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, October 17, 2016

This was a mis-understanding on the part of the customer. His car was towwed in not complete and not operative and drove out under its own power. We attempted to tune the vehicle but were unable to finish due to the vehicle having sticking fuel injectors which we belived to be caused by the vehicle sitting a part for some time. After multiple attempts to clean injectors it was determined that the fuel system was contaminated. The customer was notified and actually confirmed that when he had the fuel tank down to replace the fuel pump he saw debris in the tank.

At this point, it was decided that he would make the repairs himself and return the car for final tuning. Six weeks later the customer is convinced by his friends that we ripped him off because the chip, which had obviously been installed at one time, was not there and that was the problem with his car so instead of attempting to call and ask why the chip was not in his car, he decided to file a rip off report.

This is not intended to be negative toward the customer. We finally talked to him after a week or so of failed attempts to reach him and the mis-understanding was cleared up. The only reason this rebutal is being made is due to the fact that Ripoff Report will not remove reports even when they are false or an over-reaction by the customer even if the person that files the report request it to be removed.
