Complaint Review: PSV Health Revelations

PSV Health Revelations is the book and newsletter distribution agent for Dr. Mark Stengler who advertises intigrative health services in California. I ordered a book and a one year newsletter subscription from Dr Stengler at a special advertised price of $37.00. PSV Health Revelations immediately charged my debit card in the amount of $149.00. That is an amount I never agreed to or expected. I called their phone number (800) 216-7440 and was told initially that I should be happy because, for the additional $112.00 that I never authorized, they upgrded me to a lifetime subscription to Dr. Stengler's newsletter. I told them that I only wanted what I ordered and nothing more. They told me that they wouldn't amend the order so I told them to cancel the entire transaction. Their response was that a credit to my account would take 7 to 10 days. I argued that, since they could issue an illegal charge instantly, they could cancel it instantly. They refused to do that and, at this point, I have no idea what their intentions are. The transaction posted to my checking account and was withdrawn from my funds on April 13th. The original order was placed on April 9th. and the $149.00 becme unavailabl to me then. This is a ripoff. I have no idea if Dr.Stengler is a great or poor physician but if he is associated with PSV Health Reveltions I would caution everyone to be very careful in dealing with him. With most online orders, a confirmation email is sent immediately. I checked my spam/junk mail folders, my trash folder and my active email and no confirmation was ever sent to me.
