Ripped Off doesn't even come close. I was scared into sending her the money thinking something bad may happen to me. It was curel and uncalled for. I was scared at first that's why I sent her a check for the amount of $25.00 then after a month went by I realized she must be a ripoff. Now I'm mad and I feel stupid and taken. She is wrong to do this to people. She should not only pay back the money she has taken from people but should have to pay for the pain she has put us through. She needs to be taken out like I do my garbage. I think I'll go to her address and just see if she even exist!! She better pray she isn't there. She has taken the wrong person this time cause she is in my back yard and I gotta dog that will eat her lunch..

Psychics know what to say to scare you.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sat, July 08, 2006

Dear Chae,

I am very sorry that you had a terrible experience. You must have felt hurt. I wanted to offer some knowledge and insight I have gained from experiences I have had going through some tough times.

It IS a terrible thing to play with someone's emotions, especially when it is FEAR they try to provoke to get you send money. I too received the same solicitation just yesterday, and this is not the first time. In the past month or two, I have received 3 similar solicitations from so-called Psychics BEFORE THIS ONE. They were from, MS. ELLIZABETH, SKYE ALEXANDER, and DR. MARISSA VON TRAPP. Rip-Off Reports about the last 2 are listed under Psychic.

I can relate to you, Chae, about being scared when you get a usually long letter from a psychic that something bad is going to happen. I have been going through some tough time for some years and felt very tempted to send money to one of them. I waited for a couple days to calm down, and at the same time, googled them. Then I found some Complaint Sites and Scam Report Sites. I did not send money to any of them, but still felt hurt and angry because they tried to take advantage of my vulnerability and caused my emotions to go on a roller-coaster ride. It isn't a joke to some of us who are trying very hard just to hang on to life. You should be MAD!

They usually claim that their accuracy is perfect and they already know something about you. Then, the letter tells you that some kind of big-time and supernatural fortunes are coming up in your life -- usually includes big money, endless blessing, and meeting someone important or of romantic interest. Not all of the people who get this kind of letter may be in some kind of life crisis, but probably almost all of us have some experience that makes us feel, She knows about me..., How did she know that....?, etc. It is because almost all of us are struggling every day and wishing, sometimes desperately, that there were a big lucky break or a stream of good luck waiting just around the corner. We just don't talk about things like that among us, but we can go on despite hardships because HOPE and BELIEF like this, and it is only natural. Some psychics know this and take advantage of this HUMAN NATURE to make people think they know a lot about them and they can do something about the problem. People usually tend to want to believe, and feel personal even when the psychic's suggestions or statements are general. What makes it more personal is the dates they put in, here and there, in the letter. Then, if it is a good luck they say is going to happen in your life, they say, I would hate to see you missing (or letting go of) this ONCE IN A LIFE TIME OPPORTUNUTY. If it is bad news, they are inferring to, of course, You must do something about it, because it IS happening! The token of some sort that is usually enclosed or promised to be sent to you, such as a good luck charm and ancient looking symbols etc., is to make you feel connected to the psychic and you are getting something or service for your money. Unfortunately, nice people tend to be more suggestive and to believe such clever tricks.

I can go on and on..., but the bottom line is that; 1) If they are so great, they do not need to mass mail and try to leech $20.00 or $25.00 off of honest but not so rich people like us, ((Real and good psychics do make a good living....., and it is true. I know that because I have a little bit above average psychic ability and know a couple of good ones. There must be millions of, so called, psychics in the U.S. and most of them do not mass mail)), 2) They know almost nothing about you unless they already have your DOB and other information to refer to and are mailing out probably THOUSANDS of merged letters, sometimes, all over the world. (Basically, they are Fishing), and 3) All 4 letters I got are from pagan practitioners who practice witchcraft related things such as hex, magik, etc.--when they
