she asked you to remove her from this site? it must have had some influence on her 'buisness.' negative media attention is what she wants to avoid, & i'd recommend local news shows that offer segments where a consumer advocate/newscaster investigates the situations personally. i wonder if this would work for you?? couldn't hurt to try. maybe even send your story to clark howard! i've heard him talk about scams like this every week on his radio show.

Lisa5779, first off, STOP contacting this woman. As much as you beg and plead, you're not going to get your money back. EVER. I'm not saying that to be mean, but it's best to come to terms with that now and face the reality of the situation as soon as possible. No self respecting scam artist (and that's exactly what she is) would ever give you your money back after purposely ripping you off! That's like asking a burglar to give you back the items they stole from your home. Ain't gonna happen. I'm not going to discourage you from filing a police report or anything, but frankly, I doubt much will happen with that. You sought her out and willing gave her money. Granted, she played on your fears (a classic scam artist MO), but you could have stopped giving her money. Authorities do tend to blame the victim in these kinds of situations.

I'm not going to pass judgment on you for going to a psychic or a spell caster because all of us make mistakes. Anyone who leaves you a snotty comment is only doing so to revel in your misery. Not everyone believes in spells and magick and that's fine, but you're not a moron for falling for this. You made a costly mistake that I'm sure you won't do again and obviously, this woman has been successful in conning other people or she still wouldn't be peddling her "services". Those con artist depend on people being desperate about a situation and uninformed about real magick and what is ethical. Just like anything else, you have to do your research first. Had you done that, you would've seen through her lies straight away. No legit spell caster charges thousands of dollars for a spell simply because no spell costs that much to perform. Unless someone is using diamonds to cast a spell, no candles, oils or other various ingredients cost that much to buy. If a spell is more than $100, think long and hard about why the price is so high and, if need be, ask the spell caster how they came up with the price. Anyone who is truly trying to help you will have no problem answering your questions.

I'm sorry this has happened to you and I can relate, but it's time to cut your losses. I know it's unfair and it seems like she's going unpunished, but nothing any of us does goes unpunished. It might not be immediate, but karma is a mean bit*h! ;) In the future, don't just throw money at someone hoping they'll fix your life or protect you. You can always do protection and cleansing spells yourself. No one on the planet has the power to stop every little thing from happening and if they claim to, RUN! If you decide to go to another spell caster, please do your research or better yet, read up on spells and start doing them yourself. After all, you stand to gain or lose the most regarding a spell and your energy and focus is just as, if not more powerful than someone else's.

I contacted Psychic Vidonia again but she still refuses to give me my money. I have made NUMEROUS reports to the police, internet crimes, FBI etc... I have even contacted a lawyer. Is there anything else anyone knows I can do to try to get my money back? All I want is my money, I don't care what happens to her. I wish she would just understand that. I do not want to go through all this legal crap, however, I have no choice. Any other suggestions would be great.

I can not believe that there are people out there who would take money like that and not even look back. This poor woman has lost out on 1700 dollars. I am sure that you can find someone to help you take this case to court. Although you should not have gone to a "psychic" in the first place, what she did to you and your son was totally wrong. I finally spoke to Ms. Vidonia two days ago and she said that she would think about giving me a refund if I took her off this site. I begged her for my money back, I really need it for summer clothes for my son and bills that must be paid. She refuses to listen to me or refund my money. She hangs up now when I call or won't even answer. I am so upset. I need this money back.

Okay, so many of us are still completely perplexed at folks who slap down money for this kind of stuff. Especially when people claim they are strapped and are just trying to "help" their family yet they invest tons of money in this type of stuff instead of oh, health insurance, car insurance, a college fund, etc. Not saying you don't have these things, but it's hard to believe you can be organized and a good provider if you're willing to drop $1,700 on a fix all scam. Life has no easy outs or solutions. Anyway, if she GUARANTEED AND PROMISED you, tsk, tsk on her for lying. Big SURPRISE for you that you got taken.

Now, how I see it is you have one shot to fix the problem. Did you sign a contract with her? Verbal agreement, no go. It's a she said/she said deal. If you have her guarantee in writing, then take her to small claims court. If not, then lesson learned by you that all business transaction should be in writing and signed by both parties. You NEVER fork out that kind of cash on a spit and handshake (or phone call in your case). Even sending her a check or money order with it noted on the payment what the payment was for and indicating a money back guarantee may help you. If you did it by credit card or cash and have nothing written by her, nothing you can print off her website (if she has one) that offers a guarantee by her, you're most likely out of luck. Also, if nothing happened to your son, how can you prove her little spell DIDN'T work? Also, if something bad DID happen to your son, she can just claim that's not the incident she saw so she is not liable for that. It's all relative mumbo jumbo.

Have you never had a friend or relative lie to you? Then what makes you think some stranger on the phone, who you've never met, who is making money off this, is telling you the truth? I feel more for your son that this money is no longer available to enroll him in an activity or buy him new clothes or food. I don't feel bad for you because it was a dumb move. If you believe in this stuff, go to the libarary or a new age bookstore and get your own spell cheaper. I would suggest, however, praying. That's free and it has literally worked miracles in my family's life. Anything that costs for someone to run interference on my life is either a rip-off or comes with strings that end up costing more than money. Just pray and have faith.
