Public Moving Services Horrible Returning Calls and Raise Prices Does not Follow their Contract Charlotte NC North Carolina

My mom passed way and I was clearning the house for a sale.  I contacted the moving company to pick up and bring my items to the new location.  The day they came there was a problem with what was communicated to me about the packing material which were no charge to me.  I called the POC I had and the moving people did the same.  No one answered and the office was closed.  The guy didn't charge me since he could not reach anyone.  So they packed everything.  Now prior to setting pick up date I needed to pay a 25% deposit. Then according to the contract you pay 50% at pick up and the remainder 25% when they drop off. 

I had n problem with that and as shown booked with them.  Now I received a call from the moving company with new figures  which of course could not be paid the same day for some extra items added to the shipment.  I had no problem with that.  The Customer Service Manger Angela stated that half of that shipment would need to be paid prior to them shipping the items and that it would have to be done via a wire.  I reviewed the contract and it does not say anything about a wire on it. I reviewed the charges and there were items that I did not see on the original invoice.  I emailed with additioanl questions pretainin to the wire and additioanl cost and its over a week later and I still have not heard anything .  I have contacted the company via phone and email and begain to reach out to a Phyllis.  This is who sent the docusign agreement for me to fill out.  Hoping that this company is not trying to charge me every day for them not clarifying things. 

I am considering going to my JAG office to review the issue and add them to the list of companys that should not be allowed to do business with the military. My shipment was picked up on the 14th of July and now it is the 17 of Aug.  Almost a full 2 weeks and no response. Sheri Lacey,WA
