Public Storage in bklyn N.Y. on KIngs highway and utica ave are the worst when it comes to customer service. They are crooks just the same. They have increased my storage rental without properly informing me until it was time to make a payment the next day when my items are up for auctions.

I have giving them my proper address more than once and any contact information where they can reach me I spoke to the manager Adriana she is no help at all, very unprofessional she gives no reason why my lock on storage space has been broken why the increrase of my rental fee why all the additional fee the only thing she told me is my balance is due the following day by a specific time then chuckle under her voice as if it was a joke or something when i have over $10,000 worth of merchandise in their storage facility.

They advertise how they have well lit storage space and that the facility are clean they are huge liars. first of all I asked them why they didn't have any light in my space they told me for fire safety. Second they have big giant rats running throughout the facility rat trapps around every corner. I have seen with my own eyes members of their staff going through people storage space taken what they want without being stop or questioned.

They are the worst greediest sneakiest crooks out there they robb you without a gun so think twice before you put your stuff in public storage anywhere they will never get any business from me and i will spread how they are the worst in public storage and customer service.

If you dislike the place so much, get your stuff out and put it someplace else. I am sure this is not the only storage facility in the area.

First of all I know for a fact that under any state law u cannot auction property unless it's 60 days late. Which means you didn't pay. If your property is worth thousands then u should always pay on time. After 30 days of delinquency storage companies have the right to place a lien on your contents and cut the lock to inventory contents from the outside. If you told them you changed your address did you put it in writing? Under the privacy act you cannot change a customers information unless it's in writing and signed. I know for a fact that storage companies, especially public storage, must send letters and make 6 calls before any auctions. All your troubles could have been avoided if you would have just paid on time.
