Public Storage Scam where company continued to charge after service was cancelled and added additional charges Phoenix Arizona

We obtained a storage unit, but cancelled within one hour of ordering it. They continued to bill us and would not return our calls when we called. They left messages stating we owed money. When we would try to call back to discuss the matter, they would not answer and would not call back. When we called customer service, they stated that they had received calls of cancellation and that we should not have to pay but there was nothing they could do about it and we would have to go down and discuss with the manager but that the charges and the additional liens and fees they added would stand. They added a lien as well as "insurance" fees, all for a space and service we never used and cancelled appropriately. To make the situation go away, we paid all of the fees and charges, including a $20 fee in order to get it paid over the phone. The whole thing was a scam and adding a lien and other charges was nothing short of extortion. These people are bullies.
