Complaint Review: Publication Office for: LPS Education Foundation

 Franklin Alumni BEWARE Of The Scammers !! ... Recieved this post card in the mail today and waited over 13 minutes on hold. My first thought was, they don't even have my madien name right, which was Johnson back in 85. 'Hancock' became my last name when I turned 30 years old, and got rid of him and that last name several years ago. =) He immediately asked me several questions, last name, (Spain) wanted my phone#, (told him that I don't own a phone, I was using my husbands) My email address, which I told him and he tried to sell me a collection of books. I told him no, I'm fine with my 1985 year book. He than proceeded to tell me that there was "several people from Franklin High living in Idaho" ... I told him NO, that's not true!! (LOL, A**)

Then he tried to sell me a CD-rom for $24.95. I told him no again, as I'm up to date with facebook and my Franklin High School groups, that I was happy with that. He said that he will update my current information for the publishing. As I was on hold, I searched the ph# that I called and the address to see if this company was legit. After I continued to say NO to this 'salesman' I found this on 'Rip-Off' web page. He asked me if he had my current address (obviously, I got the post card today and called, a*****e !!)... Then told him to delete my address as I don't want that 'published' as well. Always, always, go with your 'gut feeling' .... Boy howdy, that was fun !!! ...
