Publish America American Star books I had a 7 year contract with publishamerica which expired March 23, 2018. I would like to get the rights for my book, so that they stop selling it on Amazon. Federick Maryland
I published my book with PublishAmerica on March 24th, 2011, which changed its name to American Star Books. I have correspondence from both companies. My contract expired on March 23rd 2018, and I have tried to get in touch with the company to release my books rights to me, but I have had no response from them.
They have sold many copies of my book up to last year, but I have never received any royalties from either company. They are still selling my book on amazon and I have no control, because Amazon cannot do anything about this. I would just like to get the rights for my book.
I have republished my book on Amazon, but the publish America copy always pop up first, so their copy gets sold.
