My daughter was contacted at work by a person claiming to be affiliated with her employer. Being in a hurry and believing the phone representative truly was affiliated with her employer, she gave the person her address and phone number believing she could cancel the "subscription" when the bill came in the mail.

When the bill came in she was shocked to find that she had been hooked under these false pretenses to not one but 7 subscriptions that would cost over $700.00. She did not order these magazines (Elle, Rolling Stone, Woman's Day, Home, Men's Journal, Lucky, Gentlemen's Quarterly) for obvious reasons: she is a very young lady, who I might add is still our dependent!

Upon entering the web address for the company on our web browser, I find that there are countless complaints circulating against this company for similar shady, underhanded practices. I have sent them an e-mail from their website link and a letter, but hold little hope that they will do the right thing here and cancel their ill-gotten subscription.
