PCH didn't contact you

scammers using PCH's name did. For you to win a sweepstakes/lottery you have to enter it. Do you remember entering for the email lottery bonanza? Basically what happened is the scammers got your email address and sent a phishing email saying you had won, using PCH to make it seem real. Hopefully you didn't respond to this email and send then your personal information. If you did, I would seriously recommend that you contact the three major credit bureaus and put a freeze on your account so that these people can't use your information to apply for credit cards, loans, etc. The old saying is "If you don't play, you can't win". A corollary is "If you didn't play, you didn't win".
