Publix Supermarket Cigarette price gouging lucky strike Jacksonville , Florida
Publix in Jacksonville on old baymeadows road is charging 10 dollars for a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes. That is simply a joke and extreme price gouging. This is not New York , I've spoken with several people and they say that is definetley not right. My local gas station is ordering them and will sell at the normal price of 6.50. Bad form publix....

If it were anything but the dreaded cigarettes ( that are giving Floridians tax money at a little more than a dollar a pack. Do you want that coming our of YOUR pocket? Then quit complaining) then you wouldn't have chimed in with your retort. Lets say they charged 10 dollars for bread, then would you change your mind? Price gouging is price gouging. I put up with it in Indiana with gas going up for the indy races, and other places get away with upping prices to maximum profit as well. NO MATTER WHAT THE ITEM IS --- it's wrong.
