I placed an order for a Hayward Pool Pump on 9/3/08, my credit card was charged immediately During placing the order, it indicated that I would receive the pump in 3-5 business days. I never received an email confirming my order. As of 9/15/08 I had not received the pump. I called Joe several times and he did not return my call.

I then sent him an email of 9/10/08 expressing my concern and indicating that only after ordering I found complaints on-line regarding his company, five days later, he responded saying "Your pump is shipping. We have the most complaints because we were the first company online since 1993. When you have tens of thousands of customer you have .001% unhappy. For us it adds up."

I received the pump ten days later. The electrican hooked it up, but only one speed would work. (this is a two-speed pump). Then I had another pool person come out and work on it. It ran, but was so hot you couldn't touch the housing. I shut the pool down just a few days after having the pump installed.

The pump ran for about three weeks this spring and has not stopped working. I tried to contact Joe, but no response. How I wish I would have looked for reviews like this web site before ordering. I am so surprised that the BBB or some other organization can't put him out of business.
