Complaint Review: Purasanda Imports

 Back in March of 2017 I bought a 2004 lincoln ls from this lot. When I originally went to the lot it was to look at an Impala they had posted on Craigslist. Once I seen this car I definitely did not want it because it was in worse shape than they stated online. I saw the lincoln sitting toward the back of the lot and asked what was wrong with it. The man told me it shifted kind of hard but that was it. He told me that was common in lincoln && that the problem would never get any worse. They wanted $2500 for it. I gave them 1500 on a money order and 1000 cash. They told me I could bring back the tax and title, which was like $250, in a couple weeks.

The very next day the check engine light and gas cap light came on. I called them but no answer so I left a voicemail, no one returned my call. A couple weeks later I'm in court for half the day and when I get out of court the repo man was waiting saying he had a repo order on the car. I asked how when I paid the entire amount they wanted for the car. The owner Pandu would not tell me anything over the phone just kept saying bring the car & hung up. I rode with the repo man using my gas to the carlot where they told me they tried to call about the tax & title & since I didn't answer they issued the repo. I told him i was tied up in court but he didn't care.

Then his wife comes out being really rude saying they don't even have to call or nothing & since they didn't get they money that morning they were taking the car. She then told me I now have to pay them $1000 to get my car back since they repod it. I asked why so much since all they did was use my gas to drive it to the lot & she insisted they can charge what they want for the repo. Then she said if I bring them 500 within 3 days I can have the car back & owe them the other 500 in payments. I was highly upset but had no choice at this point so 2 days later I took her 500 and got my car back. 2 weeks after that I took them 250 then the car broke down.

I called them & of course no answer son I left a message telling them the car was down and once it was fixed if bring them the rest of the money. The car was down for 2 month almost til we finally figured out it was the throttle body that needed replaced. Once it was running I took them the remaining 250 but only the mechanic was there so he took the money && wrote on a piece of paper that I gave it to him && sent me on my way. Now 3 months later they repod it again and once again would not tell me why. I don't owe them any money and they still took my car. This car lot is getting over on people they are conartists and need to be shut down. If u look them up on BBB website u will see I'm not the only one they have done this to.
