This site is a scam. My credit card had to be closed because of this site. My order was only about 20 dollars, but my credit card was charged hundreds of dollars. Either they took the money or sold the details to somebody. Never received any products either.

Pure Land Ethnobotanicals and the Better Business Bureau

#3General Comment

The owner of Pure Land says that his company has an A- rating with the BBB. I looked them up in the BBB directory and the site says " Not BBB accredited" . I know this was last updated in 2010 , but this is the last word on this subject in this string and now , in November of 2012, there is a new report of a credit card problem with no rebuttal. It's hard to tell where this stands as of 1/25/13. Can they be trusted?

This "ripoff" report is a bogus, FALSE claim

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

This report is entirely bogus. If this were a real customer of our store, there is no way that this could happen. Our customers select what they choose to purchase and when they order, our system charges the correct amount every time. For a customer to be "charged hundreds of dollars" (notice NO specific amount is given) the customer would have needed to have placed that amount of items in our shopping cart and finalized the order. Then he says that he never received "any products." Very occasionally, a couple of times per year at most, a package is legitimately lost in shipment by USPS and when that happens the customer always lets us know. We then re-ship. And if this was actually being sent to Finland, as this person claims, then Customs could have denied the package entry. In that case as well, a real customer would have simply contacted us and we would reship or refund. This person claims they never received the product, further proof that this is a false claim and a lie.

The person who posted this is either a jealous "competitor" of our company or an unstable person with more time on his hands than most of us have.

In addition our company has an A-rating status with the Better Business Bureau.
