Complaint Review: Pure Moving Systems

My experience with this company was terrible. I should have known something was up when the movers showed up in a Budget rental truck. I even called the company and was told that when they get real busy they often use rental trucks but they assured me that the movers were all professional movers. Yeah! Right! There was so much damage to my things. Boxes smashed, ripped, torn; an expensive oil painting I paid extra to have custom packed was torn from the frame; new washer was now dented; a handle dangling from a server; dresser drawer and bottom of the dresser was damaged; lots of glass heirlooms destroyed; patio table was missing its legs; nuts/bolts were missing from items that they disassembled; etc. Three movers came to pack my things in Bakersfield yet only 1 showed up in Las Vegas for delivery. Much, much later that afternoon another helper showed. He told me that he is a landscaper just helping out. They didn't leave until late that night. And because it was late, they refused to place items in their proper location and they refused to reassemble several items they took apart. When I researched moving companies, I knew I would use Pure Moving & Storage as they're rated A+ by BBB and have hundreds of positive reviews. Unfortunately when I got ready to book, I simply typed in Pure Moving and ended up at Pure Moving SYSTEMS' site without realizing it was a different company. So a warning for you. Pure Moving & Storage is the one with all the good reviews. Pure Moving SYSTEMS is just piggy backing on their name and is a disgrace to the moving industry.
