Pure Nutrients Unauthorized charges to my account Melbourne Florida
I signed up for a "free trial" offer for both the Nature Cleanse and Acai Berry supplement. There was a nominal shipping fee for both products.
Immediately my bank account was charged 3 separate charges totaling $179. I have only received one of the products and never received the Acai Berry supplement. I emailed their customer service rep for a tracking # and never heard from them.
To date I have never received the one product. No one answers the phone numbers listed for customer service. There is no link on either website to contact anyone.
The bank says I must wait 30 days before filing a Disputed Merchant Charge form.
The Pure Nutrients website has a disclaimer that says it has nothing to do with either product and that these products are fraud.

The fine print on these FREE TRIAL offers states that you will be on auto-refill. That is why Credit Card is the only form of payment they will except. No e-checks, no PayPal, no mailed in Money Orders. No other form of payment besides CC can be auto-charged and their fine print will say that you agree to this. And by accepting the free offer, you DID agree to these terms, whether you read them or not.
Many times the fine print is on a tv ad, tiny tiny letters, white on white, unable to be read. They should also remind you of this when you are placing an order by phone. If you ordered online, this info would have been found on their 'terms and conditions' page.
Many of them will charge your card 2 months in advance. Then they will tell you that they cannot refund what was already ordered and that you will have to wait until it arrives and return it, at your expense, after you get an RMA # from them. The phone number for returns which is most likely never answered. And many will tell you that if you opened the box, you cannot return for refund. Their might even be an overlap period from the time you cancel further supplies and they actually stop your auto-refill. And be very, very careful that there is nothing else tied to your order, like a magazine subscription that will give you a week to cancel or they will charge you a years subscription.
I am really sorry this happened to you. Here are some tips for the future.
*ALWAYS read the fine print. If it seems too good to be true... it is.
*NEVER pay for anything with a bank card or give your bank information over the phone or online.
*ALWAYS pay with a credit card that will give you some leeway if you are genuinely overcharged. Many CC companies will not give you your money back just because you did not read the fine print.
one more thing....
*ALWAYS read the fine print.
