I would like to start out by say Im truly sorry to every client that was part of Pure Weight Loss. I am an ex employee that found out the company was closing at 2:00 Tuesday afternoon. I had no warning and no job to fall back on.

I want to start by saying I hope you made every copy of anything ever given to you there. They are suppose to be giving each client refund sheets that you send into the company. Make sure you send it certified mail to make sure they get it.

Also, if you think the only people they are ripping off are the clients. Its the employees too. I was told when I got hired on there that I would be working in the center in my town, but that wasnt the case they had me travel about 50 miles everyday to another center.

They give the employees expense reports to fill out at the end of the week for gas, but Ive seen maybe 3 checks. they owe me pretty close to 600 dollars just in gas. When I went into the center today to submit my timesheet on the computer I was told that we no longer had control to send them in like we did every two weeks before. Also, the center phones had been shut off for who knows what reason since we arent suppose to be closing till the fourth. But who knows.

I was told a supervisor was suppose to send the timesheets in for us. Which I dont know how that was possibly since I needed to correct certain hours on my sheet. So now Im worried that I will never see the money I deserve.

I would suggest to the clients to either take the product you deserve with you or make sure like I said make a copy of everything and if you dont get a refund make sure someone hears about it. My clients are very special people to me and I dont think its right they should be put through this.

I want to say good luck to the clients that are trying to get there money back and to us the employees that just lost our jobs or going to lose are jobs that they wont try and screw us over like they are trying to do with so many people.

I just want to get paid for the time that I worked and the money that I put in for gas. Also, I hope my clients will be fully refunded for the services and product they wont be recieving. If not like I said go to someone higher up. Contact your lawyer or some clients might be contacting the attorney general. Something just needs to be done.

With my sincerest apologies to everyone going through this.

About your expense reports....Good Luck! The lady in that department is Eileen and she has been complaining about lay offs and being under staffed for 6 months.

I worked in the Texas Market and they had our lay offs starting back in October.

Most of us are still without unemployment checks.

One thing I can say about LA / PURE is that when they were doing good they did take care of employees with the best trips, Holiday Bonus, even birthday gift certificates.

The thing that was said to us the most is that we must follow up...

The question I have for HR, Elaine, Vaughan is Where is your follow up to make sure your laid off employees or the ones who left to keep their integrity get their unemployment?

What are you all doing to make sure the clients get their money back?

If I had to guess you are probably sitting back all cozied up next to a fire sipping on a cocktail next to your Holiday tree with no worries. Well, now is the time to think about the people who have stood by you. The ones who have worked and paid for your tree, your cocktails and your electricity. The employees with no jobs and pink slips on their electric bills. How are you helping them?

It is time for Elaine, HR, And Vaughan to make some CARE CALLS...

Waiting for my care call,
Houston Texas
