I ordered a large quantity of these bottles for my organization after a colleague's recommendation. I told the representative that I wanted them to look exactly as my colleague's sample looked and the representative asked only for my organization's logo, which I supplied. I wanted a small quantity but was told that they couldn't do small amounts, they only do the order in certain quantity, I agreed. The price tag was hefty but I felt it was warranted for the usefulness of the product, and the potential marketing opportunities.

Needless to say the order arrived and didn't look like my colleague's sample nor did it look like anything purewater2go.com posted in their catalog.
I called the representative immediately to sort out the mix-up because I was still foolishly of the opinion that this company was reputable. The representative proceeds to tell me that the label I signed for was what I received. I reviewed the contract and in fine print lost in all of the other jargon (and never once verbalized and explained by the representative) was written that the size that the logo will be 3x4. I asked him if he had seen the product he sent to me prior to shipping and asked him if he would have ordered something like that for himself. The label was so small the print was almost unreadably tiny and it took up one side of the bottle and looked like the sticker on a medicine bottle. I asked why he would give me this size when I SPECIFICALLY asked for the wrap around label. He explained that they used to do the wrap around labels but it's more expensive and this is the option they used now. However he NEVER- NOT ONCE indicated this to me during any of our previous discussions. I would have gladly paid for what I wanted or I simply would not have bothered at all. I definitely would not have agreed to the product I received.

I asked to have the labels redone as soon as possible, which was costing me because the order was time-sensitive, intended for an event my organization was hosting. He told me that would be fine but not only would I have to pay the additional fee for the larger labels but I would have to pay for shipping. I said I didn't mind paying the larger label fee but I wouldn't pay for shipping because I didn't believe the fault was mine. He told me he had to speak to his manager/president and he'd get back to me ASAP. He didn't call me for that entire day and at the close of businesses I called to speak with their manager because I'd decided that I didn't want to pursue this any further and I wanted a full refund.

That was when the president, Brian Harris became involved. At first I believed this was a good thing because not only was he the final decision-maker but any reasonable businessman would see that this was indeed a mix up and would seek to work with me to rectify the situation. The conversations with Brian Harris deteriorated quickly because I would not accept the terms he wanted me to adhere to- all of which would put my organization at a significant loss. The exchanges became very hostile, very quickly. As the customer I was truly taken aback by how rudely and condescendingly I was being treated by the president of this company. I was even surprised that as the president he had as much time to spend on his emails as he did. I finally had to request that Mr. Harris stop contacting me because the emails started taking on a personal tone and I felt uncomfortable.

The only option I was left with that didn't put me at a loss was to retain the $1,000+ worth of product I'd purchase and try to off load it as judiciously as possibly.
Now though my organization has started receiving complaints that not only do the labels bubble and peel off after ONE filling; the water also has a bad taste! So, I can't even attempt to distribute the rest of my supply because in addition to looking cheap, the product is self destructing and potentially hazardous!!

Buyer please, beware!

January 26, 2010: Purewaterglobal representative Jodee Davis has contacted me and offered an apology and a full refund. She has indicated that there has been a change in staff and the company is now under new management. Jodee Davis was very sympathetic, understanding, professional and thorough- quite a different experience from my last round of communication with the representatives of the company. Ms. Davis and I are currently working together to bring this entire situation to an amicable conclusion.
