Complaint Review: Purity By Mineral Science

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you in regards to a company by the name of Purity by Mineral Science. I signed up for a trial offer for make-up. I was only suspose to pay 7.95 for postage and handeling. Now they have charged my credit card $ 59.99 without my permission. The first time I tried to contact them I got there answering machine, so I tried to call them, 4 or 5 times, the following day and all I was a busy signal. The following day I tried to call again and was put on hold for a half hour and to my suprise someone finally picked up. The lady I spoke with told me that the package was delivered (which of course it wasn't) and that I needed to track down the package and return the merchandise before I could get a refund. I told her that this was not right and I asked to speak to her manager, again, I was put on hold, finally a lady by the name Lorraine got on the phone. We were discussing the matter and of course I did not get NO where with her. After getting the address I informed her that I was going to turn her into the Better Business Bureau and I was going to file a ripoff report. In the middle of telling Lorraine that the they treat people is not right she hung-up on me. Now I am force to file a dispute with my credit card company. So I figure I am out 60$ and I am sure I am not the only one they have done this too. This company is nothing but a ripoff and I hope they are stopped before they do this to more Americans.
