Purpose funding sent out a flyer stating I was guarenteed 3.5% interest on a streamline home loan and I would lower my payment by almost 300 dollars.

They said I might be able to skip one payment if the loan closed fast enough so we of course had to hurry...they (being a man on the phone named chris ulmer) said I would have to pay about 4 to 6 hundred dollars for taxes and interest but it was to be during the month I would be saving lots of money skipping one mortage payment cuz the new payment would not be due yet....what actually happen was " oh sorry sir we can't give u 3.5% oops our mistake"...then another call that said "o darn we were wrong. You'll have to pay a little more than 4 to 6 hundred the month u are between lenders...ya now we need u to pay 1800 dollars"...well that is more than my mortgage payment to Wellsfargo right now...so that's when I told chris at purposefunding to go fly a kite...I'm calling wellsfargo to make sure I haven't screwed up my rather fair mort loan with them...yes I checked with wellsfargo and another company but both could only save such a small amount of money in their stremlining loans that it hardly made it worth the trouble to do...but I shoulda known better...if it sounds too good to be true it usually is
