im a mother of 3 recently divorced and went to purrfect auto for repair work on my a/c system.  after a quick visual inspection was told i needed a new compressor kit and if i purchased the parts they would do me a favor and install them for $300.00.  i agreed and purchased the requested parts needed by the service tech named "brad".  i had returned and given the new purchased parts to them and left my car for the day.  upon returning later around 3:30 that afternoon, the techs seemed to have attitude with me and made comments about the purchased kit i supplied stating that there "were parts missing".  i asked why they didnt call me because i would have been glad to purchase other parts needed or cancell the service if the parts would cost to much for me.  they said they just installed it anyway!!  "i hope it works out for ya" the tech named "terry" told me.  after i completed the invoice and reluctantly paid the guy, i went to the parking lot and started my car.  as soon as i turned the a/c on the car blew up and smoke was everywhere.  terry came out and said now i couldnt even move the car and it was to stay there until they could locate the necessary parts to fix the damage now.  i was completely devistated and left my car there over night and told them i had to figure out finances and not to do any additional work until i called them the next day.  the tech terry told me that they could find the parts but they would have to charge me additional labor for removing the parts i purchased yesterday and replacing the new parts that they blew up plus the purchase of the new parts which in total would be an extra $600.00!  i told them that i could not afford any futher purchases.  i felt they caused the damage by not inspecting my car before giving me the keys and they also did not install the parts properly by installing an incomplete kit!  this is the cause of the additional damage done.  they are responsible for fixing their mistakes!  he then told me they already made the repairs and i needed to pick up my vehicle immediatley!  when i returned to purrfect auto, i was faced with paying for the invoice of $600 or them not releasing my car.  he was very rude and disrespectful saying comments like " if i would have purchased the complete kit this would not have happend"  told me to just, "go drive you car lady"!  he would not show me the new parts claimed to install or give me his last name.  told me to leave!!  in tears, i paid the additional (incorrect) invoice and left with STILL NO A/C after spending almost $1000.00!  PLUS now the car is stalling and the a/c blows hot!!  i have more damage now!!  the tech Brad told me to turn the a/c off if i want to make it home!!  these guys are real good at what they do, SCAMMING AND COMMITING FRAUD!  they totally suck at being mechanics!!  plus now they will not refund any of my money and have cost me more money in damage done by breaking parts under the hood, changing unnecessary parts, i had to take it to the dealer ship for a proper inspection cost $120.00 to tell me all i needed was a fan for $89.00!!  i have NSF charges from the bank for the withdrawl of $600 that i didnt have!!  im going to court!  filing suit and demanding my money back!!  i never told them to purchase these additional parts that i could have bought for way cheaper!  plus i never approved the additional work they claimed i needed.  they caused the damage, they should have paid for the mistakes!!  HOW DO YOU GIVE SOMEONE $1000 FOR REPAIRS AND THE REPAIRS WERE NEVER DONE!!

"after a careful inspection of the original chrysler compressor removed by purrfect auto, it appears to be in proper working condition and i see no reason to replace this part,  (said the professional mechanic that has recently inspected my original compressor)  remember at the beginning of this story, purrfect auto told me,(from a visual inspection ONLY) that i had a bad compressor and if i purchased the parts they told me to buy, they would give me a good deal and change it for $300. (pretending to do me a favor).  well the deadline is now up for reimbursement, i will be filing suit within the next couple of days to reclaim my money spent for a fraudulent scam.  i intend to show all necessary paperwork and original parts replaced by them, in court.  i have all receipts and all attempts i have made to settle this issue.  i have the last offer they recently sent me, claiming how they will change the fan for an additional $565.00.  THESE GUYS ARE COMPLETELY CRAZY!  i had the fan changed and a mechanic to install it all for $140.00!  a/c finally working!!  but this mom of 3 isn't stopping here!  i'm ready to fight!! i will fight for every unnecessary dollar they made me spend and every unnecessary minute of ill stress they have caused me!  my list is long!  i have my professional statements and my proper diagnostic check from chrysler with all invoices from them claiming to install an incomplete a/c kit on my car.  (in their own handwriting) including every purchased part and receipts in reference to this situation!  $$ are adding up!!   SEE YOU IN COURT PURRFECT AUTO!
